1961
A small group of families started a meeting in Kingshurst under Edwin & Dorothy Orton’s leadership.
1969
In anticipation of the need for a church building, the present site in Cooks Lane was allocated. Kingshurst Evangelical Church (KEC) was born.
1976
The church building was officially opened by the Mayor of Solihull.
1987
Edwin retires and Chris Beard is appointed as the 2nd Pastor and immediately after that John Alvis is appointed as the 3rd Pastor for Connection Church (KEC).
2002
MP Caroline Spelman opens the second phase of the building, called “The Care Centre”.
2005
Bob Bogart & Debby, American missionaries are appointed being the 4th Pastors for KEC.
2010
After 4 years of serving KEC, Bob and Debbie are moving back to America and Bubba Lollar & Rockie take the leadership of KEC for the next season.
2015
God calls Emil, Nathalie, Emily & Noa from Belgium to lead the church for the next season and the third phase of the building is built.
2020
Chapter 2 of the KEC Journey is about to be written. The name is changed in Connection Church Centre and a new vision is born.
